St. Michael’s “Guardian”
We are putting together a Parish Report of all our activities from July 1 2017 to 30 June 2018. The name of the new periodical is the ”Guardian”. The report will be given to the Parish in August. So, help is needed. To make the publication worth reading, we need to have a report from all groups and ministries in the Parish. So to our leaders, could you please put together a report, and email it to the Parish at sec@smpt.org.au by July 15 at the latest.
Thank you for all you do, now let’s celebrate it and share it with our community.
Monthly Youth Mass
The next Youth Mass will be held on Sunday 29th July, followed by pizzas.
There is a training session at 4:30-5:30pm on Thursday 26th July.
Plenary Council – 17th June 2pm-4pm
This gathering is a time for all catholics to meet to openly discuss the future of the Catholic Church in Australia. It’s a time for parishioners to be able to comment freely about the strengths and weaknesses of the Church, and to consider what our parishes, and our Dioceses can be doing to support the growth of the Australian Catholic Church in the twenty-first century.
In our parish we are blessed to have many people with many and varied talents, people who are answering the call of their baptism by generously sharing their talents and time: people
who are living their faith.There are many parishes around our wonderful country – with all these dedicated caring catholics, praying and talking with each other about the future of our Church, we’re in for an exciting time ahead.
Hopefully, all parishioners will come and let us know how they’re feeling about our Church.
SMY@L – St.Michael’s Parish Youth Group
St.Michael’s Youth group is for all young people from Year 5, 6 & lower secondary levels (from any school).
Friday June 22 ~ Jump’n’Climb Phat Friday 2 awesome hours of jumping fun at Jump’n’Climb, 62 Eastern Rd, Traralgon (meet at venue in the foyer). Bring water bottle & Jump socks if you have them.
Youth group sign in still applies. 5:00 – 7:00pm
Cost $15 members, $20 non members or late RSVP
Baptism
BAPTISMS:
The next meeting for those preparing for Baptism is on Wednesday 20th June at 7:00pm in the Parish Centre. Please contact the Parish Office on 5174 2060 for further information.
